AEG Global Partnerships Promotes Kate Sheets to New Position of Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Affairs

Sheets joins the Global Partnerships team after most recently serving as Vice President, General Counsel for AEG. In the new expanded role, Sheets will lead efforts to identify, cultivate and refine key partnerships and strategic initiatives, ensuring they contribute to AEG’s overall growth objectives and key global partnership priorities. Sheets joined AEG in 2016 as a member of the AEG Legal Department, where she started as General Counsel and was later promoted to Vice President, General Counsel. For the past six years, she has been responsible for advising AEG’s senior management on key business and legal matters, as well as managing a wide range of general corporate and contractual matters, most of which centered on the supporting daily operations. from one of the many stadiums, arenas and entertainment complexes or professional sports franchises that AEG owns or operates. Prior to joining AEG, Sheets spent nearly three years as an associate at Proskauer Rose LLP in Los Angeles. While there, she focused on large-scale mergers and acquisitions and securities issues for both public and private companies. Sheets began his legal career at Foley & Lardner LLP in Los Angeles as a member of the firm’s Transactional & Securities and Sports Industry teams.
