Blackstone Minerals moves forward with Ta Khoa refinery; close to signing partnerships

Scott Williamson of Blackstone Minerals Ltd (ASX:BSX, OTCQX:BLSTF) talks to Proactive on the company’s pilot program at the Ta Khoa refinery, where it commissioned the 450,000 tpa Ban Phuc nickel concentrator and sent the concentrate to a laboratory in Perth. The company is also working with the Vietnamese government on the Chim Van nickel target, near Ta Khoa. Pre-feasibility studies for the upstream component of Ta Khoa have been completed, while the company is midway through a definitive feasibility study for the downstream asset. Looking ahead, BSX hopes to forge key partnerships with cathode, battery and car manufacturers that will accelerate exploration and reduce project risk.
