Dazed Media launches commercial operations and partnerships in Australia

Global youth and fashion publisher Dazed Media has launched its business operations and partnerships in Australia.

The magazine will remain globally aligned, but its digital sites, social media and productions will all be open to brand partnerships locally.

The company has partnered with youth media and branded content consultancy Citizens of Culture to work directly with brands on setting up its content marketing development and project management.

The London-based publisher is known for its coverage of radical fashion, music, art, film and politics. Dazed Media has a presence online, in print and on social media. The publisher also has offices in China and Korea, with both digital channels and print editions.

“As we enter this new era of Dazed with a more global focus than ever, Australia is a key market in our strategy to grow our global community,” said Priya Matadeen, Managing Director of Dazed Media.

“Citizens is a critical partner for us – we’ve aligned on a shared desire to create more impactful, purpose-driven communications with key brand partners – not just reflecting culture, but creating and shaping it together.

Dazed featured artists such as Rihanna, Harry Styles, Selena Gomez, and Lana Del Rey on its cover.

Dazed Media’s journey into the Australian market began with a launch partnership with Burberry in February 2022.
