Directors of corporations and limited liability companies must complete the registration exercise immediately

SRINAGAR, JULY 01: As part of a major initiative to correctly identify anyone filing a document on the MCA portal, the J&K & Ladakh Registrar of Companies (ROC) has issued instructions for all individuals who are either “administrators” in companies. or are “designated partners” in limited liability companies incorporated into J&K to immediately register as business users on the MCA Portal.

Company Directors and Designated Partners of LLPs are additionally encouraged to associate their Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs) through the DSC Association Service.

Furthermore, it is learned that the compliance letters have been signed by Haamid Bukhari and the mass mailing exercise has already started through emails.

According to the data available in the public domain, there are approximately 5000 active companies and LLPs incorporated in the ROC office and the number of such appointed directors and partners would be approximately (6000-7000).

The letter sent indicates that the conversion of existing “registered users” to professional users and the registration of new ones as “professional users” only are necessary due to the transformation journey of our online module known as MCA21 Version 3.

The letter further details user-friendly steps to complete the registration exercise followed by the DSC association.

This exercise is a nationwide exercise which will be carried out by the Department of Corporate Affairs with the assistance of the Institute of Corporate Secretaries and Chartered Accountants and the aim is to bring you up to speed to work with the links information updated in the new version 3 of the MCA system.

This step will ensure that every depositor is fully identified in the system, whether it is the director of a company, a designated partner or any professional responsible for making OCR deposits.
