NEPC engages in renewed partnerships at national and sub-national levels

The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) is poised to embark on massive outreach and renewed partnerships with the private and public sectors, not only at the national but also at the sub-national level, to further sensitize Nigerians on enter into the reality that the only way to guarantee our economic survival is through non-oil exports.

Executive Director/CEO, Dr. Ezra Yakusak, briefing journalists this weekend on the upcoming Export Week in Abuja, said other activities are the launch of the “Export4Survival” campaign by the Honorable Minister of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.

According to him, the ultimate goal is to ensure that the planned events will become an avenue for the massive recruitment of people into the non-oil export network.

He further said that a symposium to be held from November 21 to 26, 2022, on the theme “Strengthening the non-oil export sector for national development”, a day of export inclusiveness for women and young people, the Export4Survival march, among others.

He also noted that one of the main objectives of Export Week is to highlight the importance of exporting to the country’s economy by strengthening and deepening interactions and partnerships with relevant stakeholders in the public and private sectors.

“We envision that Export Week will provide a pathway for business and industry-led activities to thrive, as well as help entrepreneurs, especially SMEs, to seek out new opportunities in the industry.
