Global data analytics company Parrot Analytics is expanding its customer partnerships team with the addition of two industry veterans. Laurine Garaude, former Head of MIP Markets at the current RX France (formerly Reed MIDEM), has been appointed Director of Partnerships (EMEA) and Grant Cover has joined the company as Director of Partnerships (North America).

Garaude (pictured left) will help entertainment companies inform strategic content decisions with demand-driven solutions, working with leadership teams across strategy, finance, research, programming, distribution and marketing to add value and drive growth.

Prior to joining Parrot Analytics, Garaude was a long-time Executive Leader at Reed MIDEM (now RX France), which she joined in 1993. As director of its television division since 2009, she led the growth and development from international entertainment flagship MIPCOM and MIPTV. Cannes markets. MIPFormats was launched under his tenure in 2011, followed by regional markets MIP Cancun in 2015 and MIP China in 2017.

She also introduced new events, including the World Premiere TV Screenings, which became highlights of MIPCOM and MIPTV, as well as the Women in Global Entertainment Lunch and the Diversify TV Excellence Awards. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, it successfully introduced virtual markets into the MIP wallet.

In North America, Cover (pictured right) will be responsible for helping entertainment companies solve critical business questions, from content investments and valuation to D2C programming, distribution and growth, leveraging data products and strategic information from Parrot Analytics.

Cover previously spent 15 years at Gracenote and Nielsen, where he was most recently SVP, Client Solutions, leading business relationships with CBS and Paramount+. While there, he worked closely with studios, networks, talent agencies, production companies, and performance marketing agencies on client-focused services and solutions.
